I had such a wonderful trip to Hong Kong and China last week. I have been able to travel to China many times, but this was my first time to go to Hong Kong and Shanghai, and it was such an awesome experience to see more of the country.
HONG KONG
The skyline of Hong Kong is beautiful and everything just seems so big, larger than life because of the sheer amounts of people there. I didn't get to take many great pictures. I had just my point and shoot camera and really we are generally in the factories all day, dinner with manufacturers and back to the hotel when it is already dark. Not a many opportunities to take all the picture I would love to get. Most of the pictures that I was able to take were from the back seat of the car, but I still wanted to share!(view from my hotel room the first night)
(Hong Kong skylines, so pretty I wish I had better images---not from a moving vehicle!)
(the babies and kids are to die for cute)
SHANGHAI
Everyone in China talks about Shanghai, how wonderful the city is, and how beautiful the women there are. One of our manufacturers is actually from Singapore, but he sings praises of Shanghai. I wasn't disappointed, just wish that I would have had more time there. We were only in Shanghai one day. Many people told us that 2 days would be sufficient to see all of Shanghai. Maybe next time!
(the 3 images above are from a brand new station for the high speed rail. Really cool to and
comfortable to ride)
I never fail to see really interesting things on my journeys in China. I have seen this before, but I actually was able to get a picture this time. This is a man on a bike with ginormous bags of styrafoam attached to it.

I hope you enjoyed a little taste of my trip!
I'm really regretting not taking my swimsuit. The pools were so pretty!
